Precise Biometrics launches new functionality for its visitor management system YOUNiQ Visit
Precise Biometrics, a pioneer in cybersecurity and biometrics, is introducing new key features for its visitor management system YOUNiQ Visit by EastCoast. The new features include self-check-in, package delivery, and enhanced integration capabilities.
The demands placed on visitor management systems today are increasing as visitor management becomes more complex. Modern systems must meet requirements for security, flexibility, scalability, efficiency, future-proofing, and exceptional visitor experiences. At the same time, visitor management today encompasses much more than simply registering a physical meeting in the reception area. It can involve package deliveries, walk-in visitors, or high-security visits that demand signed non-disclosure agreements or verified identities using ID documents or biometric authentication.
To address these evolving requirements, Precise has launched a slate of new features and integrations to further strengthen its visitor management offering.
Since YOUNiQ Visit by EastCoast is a cloud-based solution, it enables rapid configuration, scalability, faster implementation, and simplified system maintenance. Examples of customers who have already migrated to the cloud include Öresundskraft, Tobii Technology, and Familjebostäder.
To further enhance security while simplifying administrative processes, Precise is also developing new functionality with a strong focus on security. This includes features such as multi-factor authentication (MFA) and Single Sign-On (SSO).
Examples of new features:
- Self-check-in on personal devices: Visitors can check in via their mobile phones or other personal devices, creating a smoother and more efficient process. Additionally, this functionality enables quick, simple, and hardware-independent implementation, offering a cost-effective solution for businesses with fewer visitors.
- Package delivery management: New functionality to handle package deliveries directly within the system.
- Enhanced guest services: To provide an even better visitor experience, the product can include various add-ons such as temporary Wi-Fi passwords, parking services, etc.
- Integrations with other systems: To ensure a seamless visitor experience and high levels of security, additional integrations, such as access control systems, have been added.
The development of additional functionality will continue into 2025, including both new advanced features and additional integrations designed to enhance efficiency, security, and the visitor experience.
Joakim Nydemark, CEO of Precise Biometrics, comments:
“The visitor management market is evolving rapidly in response to changing demands. A visit today can take many forms – from a package delivery to a high-security visit requiring signed agreements before arrival. By continuously developing YOUNiQ Visit, we can provide a system that not only simplifies day-to-day operations for our customers but also helps them maintain high security and compliance. With these new initiatives, Precise solidifies its position as a leading player in visitor management and security.”
