NIMBUS GROUP EXPANDS NORTH AMERICAN NIMBUS DEALER NETWORK IN TWO KEY BOATING MARKETS
Nimbus Group AB (publ) reinforces its investment in the North American market through dealer network expansion, appointing two new dealerships for the distribution of Nimbus brand boats. Erickson Marine, located in Minnesota, and Anchor Marine Group in upstate New York, have been chosen as key partners in expanding the accessibility and presence of Nimbus boats in the strategically important North American market.
Erickson Marine holds a prominent position in the Minnesota boating market, catering to the expansive metropolitan area of the Twin Cities (St. Paul and Minneapolis). With locations in both Hastings and on Lake Minnetonka, Erickson Marine serves the diverse boating community in Minnesota, renowned as the "Land of 10,000 Lakes" due to its abundance of bodies of water and exceptional boating opportunities. Erickson carries a portfolio of other luxury boat brands to which Nimbus will complement very well.
Anchor Marine Group is the first Nimbus dealer to be appointed in the state of New York. Situated strategically between two of the Great Lakes, Lake Ontario and Lake Erie, and in close proximity to Niagara Falls, their market area features an extensive navigable coastline that is perfect for a Nimbus. Anchor Marine carries brands strong in fishing and small day cruising adventures. The addition of Nimbus to their portfolio allows them an opportunity to reach a new market of boat buyers.
In 2023, Nimbus Group increased its sales in North America by 272 percent year over year, including EdgeWater Power Boats which was acquired during the spring of 2023. Excluding EdgeWater Power Boats, sales in North America increased by 94 percent. To further increase its focus on the North American market, Nimbus Group has decided to initiate local production of Nimbus brand boats.
