GreenTech Seminar
On the 2nd of May, together with Inderes, we hosted a GreenTech seminar with special focus on the Nordic Small and Midcap companies.
We took a high level look at a sector that has been one of the worst performing investment thematic in 2023. This is despite stable energy and CO2 prices and lower interest levels, the last supporting the Green Tech sector more than other growth-sectors.
We have also seen a subsidy war break out between the US and Europe, so even in light of details in concrete politics, there are signs of strong political support.
This was followed by management presentations by:
Bawat, presented by CCO Jakob Olsson, that sees it as their specific task to develop, type-approve and bring to market optimal technologies for ballast water management that meet the new environmental regulation at sea: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zw2WJ_PF9ao
WindowMaster, presented by CFO Steen O. Sørensen and Group Sustainability Director Irina Torres, that trough natural ventilations can lower the energy consumption in cooling buildings, a high focus area with buildings emitting 40% of CO2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0GCqqZm_jF8
GreenMobility, presented by CFO Anders Wall, a company that through a green car-sharing service is part of the sharing economy, and with thousands of daily trips helps reduce congestion in cities with a climate impact: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8P1yklkxPF4
Enefit Green, presented by CFO Veiko Räim, that has goal to be the largest renewable energy producer in the Baltics and Poland, with goals of 4X increasing output to 1900 MW: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gzgNjJbQtY8
Scandinavian Biogas, presented by CEO Matti Vikkula, a European player in the Biogas area, a sector that in Denmark alone provided 40% of our gas production in 2022: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=phh8pp9Glmg
