Herantis Pharma on kliinisen vaiheen bioteknologiayritys, joka kehittää sairautta modifioivia hoitoja Parkinsonin tautiin. Yrityksen johtava tuote HER-096 on pieni synteettinen kemiallinen peptidomimeettinen molekyyli, joka on kehitetty CDNF-proteiinin aktiiviseen kohtaan. HER-096 yhdistää CDNF:n vaikutusmekanismin ihonalaiseen antoon. Herantis Pharma on perustettu vuonna 2008 ja sen pääkonttori sijaitsee Espoossa.

Tässä on herra Siltasen kommentit eiliseen lehdistötiedotteen “uutiseen” liittyen.                    Inderes              Herantiksen tutkimuksen ensimmäinen osa valmistui - Inderes    Herantis julkaisi maanantaina lehdistötiedotteen, jonka mukaan HER-096-lääkeaihion kliinisen vaiheen Ib tutkimuksen ensimmäinen osa terveillä vapaaehtoisilla on valmistunut.

Herantiksen patentit näyttää liityvän juuri CDNF:n ja MANF:n käyttöön ja niistä johdettuihin peptideihin ja peptidomimeettisiin yhdisteihin: https://worldwide.espacenet.com/patent/search?q=herantis. Tällöin niiden kohdemolekyylien kohdentaminen muilla yhdisteillä mahdollistaa käsittääkseni noiden patenttien kierron. Pitäisi tietenkin lukea nuo tarkemmin. ERresQ on spin-off Saarman tutkimusryhmältä, josta myös Herantiksen CDNF-pohjainen terapia on käsittääkseni alunperin lähtöisin. Firma on vielä prekliinisessä vaiheessa, mutta noiden yhdisteiden ollessa osittain jo hyväksyttyjä lääkeaineita, voi niiden testaaminen olla mahdollista alkaen faasista II. Peliveto Herantikselle voisi olla ostaa tuo firma pois markknoilta vielä kun se ei ole aloittanut kliinisiä kokeitaan, mikäli se muodostaa muuten uhan CDNF-pohjaisten hoitojen suhteen. Tuo vain vaatisi ylimääräistä pätäkkää, mitä ei juuri nyt ole.

Osaatko @jerej tai muut arvioida, onko tässä jotain linsessimaksumahdollisuutta Herantikselle vai juurikin niin, että MANF- ja CDNF-patentit kierrettiin juuri? Tuo, että löytyvät olemassa olevista lääkkeistä tuntuu mielenkiintoiselta sikälikin, että eikö Herantis itse ole keksinyt tätä…

No nyt löytyi mielenkiintoinen kilpailija Herantikselle, About – ERresQ. Myös spin-off firma Helsingistä.  Our team has identified novel small molecule regulators of ER stress, targeting all three UPR sensors (IRE1α, PERK, and ATF6). These compounds, ERQ-01 , ERQ-02 , ERQ-03 , and ERQ-04 , emulate the action of neurotrophic factors MANF and CDNF, offering unique cell protective benefits across multiple cell types.   Notably, three of these compounds are already existing drugs with favorable pharmacokinetic properties and low toxicity, facilitating a swift and successful market entry following in vivo efficacy demonstration and phase II and III clinical trials.

Tässä on Antin kommentit yhtiön TK-webinaarista.  Herantis järjesti keskiviikkona webinaarin, jossa käytiin läpi HER-096:n perustutkimusta, kliinistä tutkimusohjelmaa ja taloudellista tilannetta. Merkittäviä yhtiön suuntaa muuttavia uutisia ei kuultu, vaan tilaisuus tarkensi ja syvensi jo aiemmin tiedossa olleita suunnitelmia. Hiljattain alkaneesta kliinisestä vaiheen Ib tutkimuksesta saadaan ensimmäisiä tuloksia jo tänä vuonna ja tutkimuksen pitäisi valmistua H2’25. HER-096:n mahdollista tehoa selvittävä vaiheen II tutkimus olisi näillä näkymin alkamassa vuonna H1’26. Sijoitustarinan kannalta kerrotut tiedot olivat linjassa ennusteidemme kanssa, joten webinaarin myötä ei ilmennyt tarvetta tarkastaa näkemystämme osakkeesta.
