Bonava Group: Bonava appoints Jon Johnsson as new CFO
Jon Johnsson has been appointed Bonava's new CFO and a member of the Executive Management Group, and will take office not later than 2 January 2025.
Jon Johnsson has more than 20 years' experience as CFO and from other leading roles in finance and accounting at companies including Atlas Copco, Geely and most recently as CFO of Karo Healthcare. Jon Johnsson has a strong track record as a proven leader and significant experience of working in decentralised companies with a strong business culture.
- I welcome Jon to Bonava. His strong business focus together with his experience gained over many years from various finance roles in several industries means Jon will be contributing to Bonava's continued development of sustainable homes and neighbourhoods, says Peter Wallin, President and CEO of Bonava.
- I am looking forward to getting to know Bonava and to develop the company further. There are many interesting projects ahead focusing on sustainable and profitable growth, says Jon Johnsson.
Bonava has already implemented a number of measures to strengthen preconditions to increase profitability and to intensify focus on more production starts. These measures have provided Bonava the financial and operational flexibility to continue developing as a strongly positioned residential developer of sustainable homes and neighbourhoods in our geographic markets. There is a structural housing shortage and a need for well-planned and sustainable homes in Bonava's markets.
In conjunction with Jon Johnsson taking up the role of CFO, Lars Ingman, who has the role of interim CFO, will leave Bonava.
