Prisma signs long lease agreement for new McDonald’s restaurant with Food Folk Sverige AB – launching new project in Kiruna’s city center
Prisma Properties (publ) has signed a 20-year lease agreement with Food Folk Sverige AB, the development licensee of McDonald’s in Sweden, for the development of a new McDonald’s restaurant in the new city center of Kiruna. Prisma has previously signed 12- and 10-year lease agreements with Willys and Dollarstore in the same retail park. With McDonald’s confirmed as the third tenant, the project is now underway.
The property, Tuolluvaara 1:1, is strategically located at the entrance to Kiruna’s new city center, with close access to the E10 highway. Construction is set to begin in the second quarter of 2025, and tenant move-ins will take place in stages from the end of the year through the second quarter of 2026. Prisma has also signed a long agreement with a charging operator for high-speed EV chargers on the property.
