Philip Morris International has approved TH1NG’s proof of concept proposal
TH1NG, through its subsidiary IIOOTE, was earlier selected to the co-design phase of the Sustainable Future of Manufacturing initiative. The commissioning party, Philip Morris Manufacturing & Technology Bologna, has now approved TH1NG’s proof of concept proposal.
The project will be activated immediately, through the implementation and installation of IoT solutions.
- The IoT solutions proposed are in the final development phase and will be delivered and installed in Bologna early December, says Bertil Moberg, Co-founder of IIOOTE and CPO at TH1NG.
The solutions were presented at the event “Italy 5.0: the skills of the future for the development of innovation in the era of artificial intelligence in Italy and the EU”, organized by the European House Ambrosetti together with Philip Morris, in Rome on November 21st, says Bertil Moberg.
- It is gratifying to receive this order. From the proof of concept, Philip Morris Manufacturing & Technology Bologna chose solutions that we will deliver and install in their factory. We wish for a mutually rewarding and successively increasing collaboration, says Klas Westholm, CEO at TH1NG.
