HAKI Safety expands its offering in geodesy
HAKI Safety has, through its Norwegian subsidiary Norgeodesi, obtained sales rights to the Trimble BuildingPoint instruments and software, which are adapted to Trimble’s range of measuring instruments. This means the Group can now offer advanced so-called total stations to more customer categories that need measurements and surveying. Norgeodesi is an authorised distributor of Trimble's surveying instruments and equipment for surveying, construction, and civil engineering laser equipment on the Norwegian market.
Joh Einar Solhaug, Managing Director of Norgeodesi at HAKI Safety, says: “I am delighted to have the opportunity to market and sell Trimble’s BuildingPoint on the Norwegian market. Norgeodesi has delivered products for surveying and road and tunnel projects for many years. With the expanded Trimble product range, we can target new customers and sectors, broadening our markets. We also see synergies with HAKI Safety's other product ranges for temporary workplaces, which creates added value for our customers.”
Since 1983, Norgeodesi has been an authorised distributor of the Swedish Geodimeter, acquired by Trimble in 2000. Norgeodesi's range of surveying equipment is sold on the Norwegian market to the municipal and public sector, construction and engineering, industrial companies, surveying consultants, and land and development companies. In addition to sales, the customer offer includes service, technical support, and training.
