Embla Medical hf.: Embla Medical Announces New Executive Vice President of R&D
Reykjavik, Iceland/Copenhagen, Denmark, February 24, 2025. Embla Medical (Nasdaq Copenhagen: EMBLA), a leading global provider of innovative mobility solutions, today announced that André Rocha has been appointed Executive Vice President of Research and Development (R&D) at Embla Medical.
Mr. Rocha has served as Partner at global management consulting firm, McKinsey & Company, for the last 13 years, and brings 25 years of experience and a proven track record across all levels of organizations. His career also includes several R&D roles at Nokia (formerly Nokia Siemens Networks), and he has led teams across a wide range of geographies and cultures, including the Nordics, Iberia, Germany, the U.S., India and Japan.
Mr. Rocha holds an MBA from the European School of Management and Technology in Berlin, a Master of Science degree in Economics, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, both from the University of Porto.
