Castellum ranks high in S&P Corporate Sustainability Assessment
For the ninth consecutive year, Castellum received top marks in the S&P Corporate Sustainability Assessment (S&P CSA) and is the only Nordic property company to be included in the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices. This distinction strengthens Castellum’s position as a significant player in sustainability.
In this year’s evaluation, which encompasses over 13,000 listed companies globally, Castellum ranked an impressive 8th place among the property companies.
“The fact that we have once again received this international distinction shows that our long-term efforts to integrate sustainability into our entire operation is yielding results. Our focus is on future-proofing Castellum while enabling a global climate transition that creates value for our tenants, shareholders and other stakeholders,” says Joacim Sjöberg, Chief Executive Officer of Castellum AB.
The S&P CSA is the world’s most comprehensive sustainability benchmark, and is intended to steer investors toward more sustainable alternatives. The evaluation includes factors such as corporate governance, climate strategy, human rights and risk management.
“Green investments play a crucial role in achieving the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and a climate-neutral world. We are proud of the fact that our sustainability initiatives are not only being recognized internationally, but are also inspiring others in the industry to follow,” says Filip Elland, Chief Sustainability Officer of Castellum AB.
As a leading player in the Nordic region, Castellum continues to strive to set an example in sustainable business practices and promote the development of sustainable communities.
