Techstep ASA: Techstep to deliver mobile solutions to Oslo Kommune
Techstep has been awarded the contract after a tender offering and it is expected to be signed shortly after the closing date for submission of complaints, due 14 April 2019. Delivery is expected thereafter. In addition to offerings, competence and service, the tender process emphasised environmentally friendly deliveries and supply. Techstep obtained maximum score here, because of its focus on i.e electrified delivery vans, as well as general green policies and ambitions within the company.
"We look forward to work with Oslo Kommune in the digital- and green shift where mobile solutions play an important part. Oslo Kommune is the largest municipality in Norway and one of the largest employees in the country, representing some 50,000 employees within key sectors like education, health and administration. Techstep will help Oslo Kommune's employees get access to mobile solutions that will help make their work life better and more efficient", says CEO Jens Haviken in Techstep.
Total potential value for the renewed contract is estimated at NOK 100 million excluding options, with revenue effect expected from the second quarter of 2019. The contract duration is two years plus options for an additional two years with annual renewal. In addition, delivery to neighbouring municipalities and related organisations will begin mostly in late 2019 and early 2020.
