Tässä vielä kommenttia  vastaavia kumppanuussoppareita on tehty sektorilla muutenkin eli en lähtisi vielä tämän perusteella spekuloimaan yritysjärjestelyillä                    Inderes              Aiforia saa kumppanuudessa kilpailijan kuvantunnistusmallit tarjolle omalle...    Aiforia tiedotti strategisesta kumppanuudesta kilpailevan patologian tekoälymalleja kehittävän Paigen kanssa. Kumppanuudessa Paigen diagnostiset AI-sovellukset tuodaan saataville Aiforia Platform -alustalle.

Aiforia kiteyttää näin linkkarissa:  Pilvipohjainen Platform tulee siis myös Paigen käyttöön. Tarkoittanee tulovirtaa Aiforialle, jos Paige myy ja kehittää omia mallejaan tuon kautta.  Tämä sopimus nosti juuri Aiforian alustan arvoa. Ja se tarkoittaa myös Aiforian arvoa. Molemmat firmat näkivät yhteistyön nollasummapelin sijaan win win arvonluontina. Ellei joku sitten kuvitellut, että Aiforia vähitellen valloittaisi koko maailman, mutta on oltava realisti ja vähennettävä riskejä olemalla kilpailematta kaikessa mm. jenkkien massifirmoja vastaan. Patologian labroille tämä on helpotus, kun voi valita kattavammat palvelut yhdestä - saako jo sanoa - ekosysteemistä.

Onko alkusoittoa yhteenliittymälle? Katsotaan molempien ratkaisut ja valitaan parempi? Nyt se on Aiforian alusta, joka hieno asia ja kertonee paremmuudesta. Miksi muutoin avataan näin alustat kilpailijalle? Tiedotteessa puhutaan strategisesta yhteistyötä ja se kertoo jo paljon.

Löytyi tällainen uutinen Paigesta. Microsoft tekee yhteistyötä Paige-yhtiön kanssa rakentaakseen maailman suurimman kuvapohjaisen tekoälymallin syövän tunnistamiseen. Antti varmaan selventää, mutta laajan raportin mukaan Paige on suora kilpailija Aiforialle. Nyt kerrotaan strategisesta yhteistyöstä. Kyseessä on ole vielä konsolidaatio, koska ei yhdistytä. Rakennetaanko kuitenkin omaa ekosysteemiä? Paige on ollut naimisissa aiemmin Philipsin skannereiden kanssa, Aiforia on riippumaton. Paige tekee yhteistyötä jo Mindpeakin kanssa, joka on myös kilpailija kuva-analyyseissa. Sopimus jättää edelleen vapaaksi yhteistyön muiden toimijoiden kanssa. Paige on saanut FDA-hyväksynnän mallilleen.  Jotakin tässä rakentuu.
